Software provider receives development subcontract from Air France Industries
BERLIN, January 13, 2010 – Knowledge-based engineering software provider PACE has been awarded a subcontract by Air France Industries to develop an on-board flight performance software for the French Air Force's fleet of AWACS E-3F aircraft. The software will leverage the company’s commercial performance calculation modules to support a variety of analysis tasks from pre-flight planning to takeoff performance and in-flight rerouting scenarios. The PACE tool will replace ground-based legacy planning tools as well as manual calculation procedures performed by cockpit crews during flight missions.
